As the North Eastern town of Middlesbrough was trying on for size a new robe as ‘Digital City’ fitted to re-generate the impoverished industrial underwear, while the skinny ribs of petrochemical and steel still poked out the sky a proposal was made: Some personal and humanist space in the digital fabric of a virtual architectural model.
